Ami Barr is a founding partner and the President of Dimora NYC Inc. With a strong
background in architecture, engineering and construction, Barr began his career as a
licensed architect in Israel. Barr saw development opportunity in America and moved to
New York City in the 1990s where he gut renovated and developed over 50 townhouses
and brownstones throughout Brooklyn. Barr took his career to the next level in 2005
when he began developing luxury condominiums in prime areas of Brooklyn such as
Park Slope and Williamsburg. Today, as President of Dimora, he continues developing
larger and more intricate buildings in a style that has become known and recognized
throughout the city.
Jon Glasser is a founding partner of Dimora NYC Inc. Born and raised in Manhattan,
Glasser grew up in a real estate family that taught him the nuts and bolts of investment
and construction within the city’s unique ecosystem. Prior to venturing out on his own
with Dimora, Glasser worked at residential development and investment firm R.A. Cohen
& Associates, Inc. where he specialized in the development, acquisition and financing of
assets across a 3,000 unit portfolio in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester.
From 2005 to 2011, Glasser acted as owner’s representative for his family’s 75 year old
commercial real estate company where he was given responsibility for the management
and oversight of a quarter of a billion dollars worth of property as well as the
repositioning and development of properties in Times Square and the Flatiron District.
Glasser is a licensed real estate broker with a Professional Certificate from NYU’s
